Summer'25
2025/07/08-10
Project C: Summer’25, held from July 8–10, brought together 90 students for a 3-day program I, Lyon Chiang, helped lead—combining basketball and English learning. Mornings and afternoons included vocabulary lessons and news analysis from Taiwan English News, followed by drills, warmups, and team scrimmages. Our coaching team featured Lewis Kim (France), Richard Chiu (New York), Julian (Taichung), and NYU mentors Bryant and Ian Chiang. With energy, teamwork, and learning at its core, this year’s Project C built confidence, skill, and community on and off the court.
Basketball
In the summer of 2025, Project C treated basketball as more than just a game. We used it as a way of life—one that teaches hard work, consistency, and accountability. Every drill, every rep, and every game was about showing up with effort, pushing through fatigue, and learning to improve day by day. Through basketball, we taught discipline, respect, and the mindset that growth comes from work, not shortcuts—lessons that extend far beyond the court.

English Crash Courses
In the summer of 2025, Project C approached English as more than just a subject. We treated it as a tool for confidence, communication, and opportunity. Lessons focused on speaking up, expressing ideas clearly, and not being afraid to make mistakes. Through conversation, reading, and real-life practice, students learned that progress comes from effort and consistency. English became a way to build voice, self-belief, and the courage to engage with the world beyond the classroom.
